This is the second time Psychonauts 2 has featured on the Top 10 Anticipated PC Games list but only because it was meant to be released this year. Hopefully it'll be worth the wait as a sequel to the critically acclaimed Psychonauts, a game where you get to play the role of a psychic agent exploring cleverly designed manifestations of people's minds, is something a lot of people are looking forward to.
Over the past year, there have been four updates on the Fig page with videos introducing the level designers, discussing the psychic powers, informing the backers about physical rewards and showing everyone how much fun the Double Fine team and some of the backers had at "Whispering Rock Psychic Summer Camp". There's apparently meant to be another "exciting" update just before the end of the year so hopefully it'll be one with more information about where the game is at :).
I still have to finish the original Psychonauts though, so I guess there's no need for Double Fine to rush from my perspective ;).
