| Karai is a new addition to the roster |
As we mentioned in June, a new DLC for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge was announced for later this year called Dimension Shellshock. It's only been a couple of months since then and the time has already come: the game will be released today on Steam.
Since the initial news about the DLC, it's been revealed that along with the samurai rabbit, Usagi Yojimbo, there will also be the addition of a female ninja to the roster called Karai. She is a high-ranking member of the Foot Clan and is often depicted as Shredder's second-in-command or adopted daughter. She's also often portrayed as a rival of Leonardo's and sometimes his love interest. It'll be interesting to see how they portray her in the DLC but the skies the limit if it is indeed about multiple dimensions.
Along with the two new characters, the game will also come with a new Survival mode, some new colour palettes and a new soundtrack by Tee Lopes.
Oh, and speaking of soundtracks, it's now available to stream on several platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp and YouTube
The DLC will be available to purchase on Steam.
