I never got around to reviewing Master of Orion: Conquer the Stars but I actually had quite a bit of fun playing it despite experiencing some technical issues. So, I was quite excited to hear that not only is a new "Star Trek" game in development (you can never have too many of them) but that the developer behind Master of Orion: Conquer the Stars now known as Nimble Giant (it used to be called NGD Studios) is working on this game. Best of all, Star Trek Infinite also has Paradox Interactive associated with the game, although I cannot tell if they're just the publisher or are also tightly working with the Nimble Giant team. Regardless, Paradox Interactive are also a strong studio when it comes to the development of strategy games, especially grand strategy games, but I'm hoping the game turns out to be more 4X than grand strategy.

So far, we've only got a teaser trailer so there's not much to go on, but there is going to be more information revealed on "Picard Day" (16th June). A new strategy game set in the "Star Trek" universe sounds like a perfect match so this is definitely one to look out for.
