Still got it.

The following post is part of a series of posts that are published every Wednesday to update readers on what I've been playing during the week (this also includes games on my "Pile of Shame"). The games to target are picked by Choicest Games contributors Choona, Luke and myself. As I'll be talking about my progress through these games, there may be spoilers ahead, especially for games containing a narrative. Consider yourself warned.

Battlefield 2042

  • Picked by Me
  • Percentage Complete = 100%

Been slowly unlocking things. I had a go as the operator Dozer during a Breakthrough match and managed to dominate. I got 26 Melee kills using the ballistic shield and even made it to the victory screen at the end of the game with most vehicles destroyed. In my most recent game, I failed to emulate the same success since in general, the operator really can be undone provided there is observant back-up nearby. I like to think I'm at least providing a distraction that will help keep my teammates alive though since nobody wants to die an embarrassing death to Dozer.

I'm also fully aware I'm a bit behind with reviews. I hoping to get a few more out soon and I'm currently working on one for Civ VI: Gathering Storm. Following that, I plan on publishing one for Return to Monkey Island.
