The following post is part of a series of posts that are published every Wednesday to update readers on what I've been playing during the week (this also includes games on my "Pile of Shame"). The games to target are picked by Choicest Games contributors Choona, Luke and myself. As I'll be talking about my progress through these games, there may be spoilers ahead, especially for games containing a narrative. Consider yourself warned.

Battlefield 2042

  • Picked by Me
  • Percentage Complete = 100%

Continuing to play the new season and enjoying it so far. I've unlocked the EBLC-RAM (which is based off the real-life Panhard CRAB armoured scout car) and it seems to be really powerful: the vehicle is very mobile, armoured and can create spawn beacons in the field. You can even equip it with anti-air cannons and howitzers. Potentially a bit overpowered? In fact, one problem with these new seasons are that the vehicles they introduce tend to be so good that nobody ends up using the old vehicles. The skies are usually dominated by stealth choppers and in this season, the EBLC-RAMs dominate the ground.
