The Wolf Among Us 2 Scheduled for Release in 2023

Screencap of Bigby in The Wolf Among Us 2 trailer
The wait is finally over.

A trailer was released a few hours ago for The Wolf Among Us 2 which shows the return of Bigby Wolf as the Sheriff of Fabletown trying to apprehend what looks like the Tin Man and the Scarecrow (so I'm guessing characters from the Wizard of Oz are part of the Fables universe, which is the comic by Bill Willingham that The Wolf Among Us is based off). The game is apparently set six months after the events of the original The Wolf Among Us and looks like it explores similar issues, such as Bigby's struggles to contain his violent Big Bad Wolf persona so he can act like a professional lawman.

It's been a long time since the last game was released. In fact, the first episode of the original was released in 2013, so by the time the sequel is released it will have been a decade! A long wait for the fans. Choicest Games originally gave the game a score of 8/10 and praised it for its plot and presentation and I'm definitely keen to get my hands on the sequel next year.

What do you think about the news? Are you looking forward to playing The Wolf Among Us 2?
