Apparently one of the disaster events in this sounds suspiciously like it was inspired by Star Trek: Voyager |
The following post is part of a series of posts that are published every Sunday to update readers on what Mark G has been up to with respect to finishing off games on his "Pile of Shame". The games to target are picked by Choicest Games contributors Choona, Luke and myself. As I'll be talking about my progress through these games, there may be spoilers ahead, especially for games containing a narrative. Consider yourself warned.
Disco Elysium

- Percentage Complete = 44%
I've been focusing on other games this week so I didn't get time to play this.
Pillars of Eternity
- Picked by Luke
- Percentage Complete = 10%

Psychonauts 2
- Picked by Me
- Percentage Complete = 5%

The Rat Pack
- Picked by Me
- Percentage Complete = 47%
Strangely enough, I somehow managed to make progress this week. It seems that random events could potentially play a big role in this game (in terms of beneficial and adverse ones). Maybe the last time I played I was struck by multiple bad events which made it impossible to recover. This time I was either more lucky or I was more wary of how much stored food I had left (because if you consume too much food and you don't have any food stores left, your colony ends up eating itself which isn't the most ideal of situations).
