Most of the Deus Ex: Invisible War soundtrack didn't grab me like the original Deus Ex soundtrack, probably because it seemed more ambient and cinematic to a degree. This particular track that plays when you visit lower Seattle is also not a track I would normally be enamoured with but it took a really awesome remix by Stevo Bortz aka Level 99 to make me see the original in a new, approving light. You really should check it out if you get the chance.
In Invisible War, the Heron's Loft apartments are located in Lower Seattle as the city is now split between the Enclave or Upper Seattle (which is protected by the World Trade Organisation or WTO, now a military power) and Lower Seattle. Upper Seattle has futuristic architecture and modern technology whereas Lower Seattle resembles a 20th century slum with many of its inhabitants consisting of thugs and black market dealers.
