Banjo Guy Ollie or BG Ollie has a lot of covers of just about everything including classic retro games such as Lemmings (which coincidentally, is now featured on a new series of postage stamps being released in the UK, along with a whole bunch of other classic British games such as Worms, Elite, Tomb Raider and Populous). What makes BG Ollie stand out from some of the artists on this list is that his covers use live instruments, and often not your conventional ones: for example, another track that was released in 2019 (and came very close to being included on this list) was a cover of the Sietch Tabr and Fremen themes from the 1992 PC game, Dune. BG Ollie played a variety of instruments including the Egyptian Oud, Darbuka drum, lap harp, kalimba, balafon and tabla drums. I'm pretty sure if you looked up the definition of a "one-man band" in the dictionary, there'd be a picture of BG Ollie right next to it.

In the end, despite the cover from Dune being amazing in terms of technical merit, I appreciated the Lemmings soundtrack more as the game (and its soundtrack) hold a special place in my heart. It's also damn catchy and a great track to dance to!
