Track composed by Alexander Brandon
This is one of the coolest tracks you'll hear on the Deus Ex soundtrack, it's also a lively one too, probably even something you'd hear as background music to an advertisement broadcast by the pharmaceutical behemoth, VersaLife. Formed in 1976, the company performed well up until the 21st century where it almost faced financial ruin before it was bought out by Bob Page in 2016. By 2052 (when Deus Ex is set), one of its directors is Maggie "IN DA FRESH" Chow and the company specialises in nanotechnology and even has a monopoly on augmentation and upgrade canisters which JC Denton can use to um... augment his abilities.
For this particular edit of the track, I decided to use the first, third and fourth parts of the UMX file, which I believe correspond to the default background music, the combat music (at 1:28) and the exit music (at 2:34) respectively.
