A local reporter in the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout 4 |
The following post is part of a series of posts that are published every Sunday to update readers on what Mark G has been up to with respect to finishing off games on his "Pile of Shame". The games to target are picked by Choicest Games contributors Choona, Luke and myself. As I'll be talking about my progress through these games, there may be spoilers ahead, especially for games containing a narrative. Consider yourself warned.
Wasteland 2: Director's Cut
- Picked by Me
- Percentage Complete = 61%
Also, killing gun vendors apparently unlocks their entire inventory! So now I have my troops all encumbered with lots of guns, ammunition and junk as a result.
Fallout 4
- Picked by Luke
- Percentage Complete = 18%
I also finally decided to pursue the main quest and made my way to Diamond City which is of course set around the official home of the Red Sox: Fenway Park - apparently the baseball park is big enough to have a full-blown settlement in it and so I'm starting to talk to the people of the town to see what's going on.
Police Quest II: The Vengeance
- Picked by Choona
- Percentage Complete = 100%
Most of the end-game makes sense in terms of the puzzles although it's easy to miss out on details, such as the entrance to the sewers and why on Earth Bains even managed to safely hide in the sewers.
The game also takes a turn for the unbelievable at the end as Sonny Bonds becomes an action hero, shooting down terrorists and actually managing to defuse a bomb while on a plane!
Anyway, since I've finished Police Quest II I can now move on to another SCI adventure... maybe Space Quest III?
