Using "The Red Weed" as the theme for the Martians was an inspired choice, since it almost sounds majestic, beautiful and serene, in an alien way, as if the Martians are pining for better days on their beloved planet, before it got wracked by overpopulation and climate change. In the original musical, this track plays when the Journalist describes the Martian plant life that seems to take root on Earth, a bit like the Zerg "creep" in Starcraft.

This particular remix is very cool and Big beat, almost as if Moby, Fatboy Slim or the Propellerheads were behind it. Considering Big beat was all the rage in the late 90s and early 2000s, this isn't entirely surprising.
