And in the running for most funky battle music goes to... erm... Battle. Man, these track names for Age of Empires weren't that creative. Anyway, as mentioned, this is a pretty groovy piece of battle music thanks to the tribal drums. When the synths kick in at 00:28, the track becomes the soundtrack for an epic 90s action flick set in Africa, well at least that's what I imagine when listening to it :).
