There is light at the end of the tunnel! Mage's Initiation, a Kickstarter project I backed a long time ago (2013 to be exact) is getting very close to being complete. The game is now currently in the beta testing phase and it's now listed on the Steam storefront. The current build has all character voices included and despite the game originally being slated for a Q3/Q4 2018 release, the developers felt that a release just prior to Christmas would be detrimental to sales, considering the number of AAA titles that are often released around this time. Also, releasing the game later will give Himalaya Studios some time to build up some hype prior to release which should hopefully equate to more sales come the beginning 2019.
Looking forward to this title, I'm definitely up for some more adventure mixed with RPG elements 😊.
