We now move on to another classic game of 1997 with a fantastic soundtrack to boot: The Curse of Monkey Island. This particular track is the main title theme. Unfortunately you'll have to put up with the sound of cannon fire in the background since it actually plays during a cinematic where Guybrush sails into the middle of a fight between LeChuck and Elaine Marley (although, I'm not sure if it's technically sailing if he's floating in a bumper car).
This was the first time I had ever heard the Monkey Island theme played with live instruments and as a result, it really blew me away. It's still probably the best version of the theme to-date (although the Special Edition Monkey Island soundtrack is pretty good too).
