This track is another one of the three tracks that plays whenever you initiate ship combat in Master of Orion II. Those synth violins don't exactly sound the best nowadays but the music overall has definitely got a Space Opera feel which means it's perfect for Master of Orion II. Also, as a random bit of trivia, the passage that plays from 1:38 sounds very similar to the music you hear at the end of the intro to the game, when the Battle Station is about to be lost to an Antaran assault.
