Papers, Please gets its own short film

Screencap of Papers, Please - The Short Film
Ah Arstotzka, what a charming place to visit

It's been 5 years since the release of Lucas Pope's hit indie game Papers, Please and now, thanks to a couple of Russian filmmakers (Liliya Tkach and Nikita Ordynskiy), you can now watch a free 10 minute short film based off the game on Steam. As far as films based on games are concerned, this is actually pretty good since it stays faithful to the source material, including events, memorabilia and even characters from the game (everybody's favourite smuggler Jorji even makes a cameo).

For those not familiar with the game, the film probably works well as a long, live-action trailer for the game more than anything else, but if you're a Papers, Please fan, it's something you should definitely watch: Glory to Arstotzka!

Oh, Papers, Please is also discounted by 50% until the 1st March on Steam.
