Almost there...

Lori and Corey Cole, creators of the classic RPG/adventure series Quest for Glory, are almost ready to release their latest game Hero-U: Rogue to Redemption with a tentative release date of mid-April. Alpha testing has already commenced and feedback from testers has been very positive according to Corey Cole. Comments have been made that fans of Quest for Glory will like it, which is welcome news.

I originally backed the development of this game during the first funding campaign (yes, there were two) way back in 2012, so it's been a long 5 year wait but it looks like it will soon finally be over, and I'm sure no-one can be more relieved to see the release of this game than the Coles since 5 years is a long time to be stressing over game development.

In the next few weeks, the rest of the alpha testers and beta testers (for those that backed that tier during the Kickstarter project) will be contacted by Corey Cole to help hunt for more bugs. Lori Cole has almost finished writing the game dialogue and Josh Mandel (another Sierra alumnus probably best known for his work on Space Quest VI, Freddy Pharkas and as the voice of King Graham in King's Quest V) is almost finished object interactions. Corey's also got some work to do with respect to a whole bunch of things including the endgame, manual, bestiary, art book and yearbook.
