About a month ago during E3, Sony made the surprise announcement that classic Lucasarts adventure game Grim Fandango would be remastered and available exclusively on the new Playstation and PS Vita. While there were rumours that it would eventually be released on the platform it was originally made for, the PC, this has now been officially confirmed by Double Fine several hours ago.
Apparently the game will be released on the PC, Mac and Linux at the same time as the PS4 and PS Vita releases. I'm hoping the remaster is only an upgrading of the graphics to a higher-resolution. It would be a pity if any of the actual plot, puzzles, characters or audio needed changing (upsampling existing audio is all good though :)).
In the meantime, I will be whistling this tune for the rest of the day:
