Ah the Aztec theme. As mentioned before (when I featured the Aztec theme from Civ 1) this theme got a lot of "airplay" in Civ games of the 90s. Not only did it feature in Civ 1 and Civ 2, but Colonization as well. A variation on the theme is even used as background music for Civ 2's intro. So, if you played any of the Civ games in the 90s, you're likely to have heard it before.

Oh, and if you're curious about who is the female leader for the Aztecs in Civ II, it's Nazca which is apparently a totally made-up person (then again, it's not easy finding any notable Aztec women due to their lowly status in Aztec society).
