Still can't get past the King of Plagues stage. Got pretty close again but defeated by a random encounter ☹. Didn't really get much in the way of tokens either except another of the Goblin King's Hall card... so I'm now on to Part IV of that series.
The Walking Dead: A New Frontier

In
The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, all hell breaks loose as Joan calls for a public hanging of Javi's brother, David. Tripp also finally finds out what I did to Conrad and despite killing Conrad to protect my nephew, he still doesn't like it and asks us to leave (which I did, since I genuinely felt sorry for Tripp) – unfortunately, my poor choice in actions ultimately results in his death as you will encounter a situation where you have to make a choice of saving one and only one person: Ava (David's right hand woman) or Tripp. It was a tough choice since both seemed to be good people that would help you out in a pinch, but I ended up choosing to save Tripp because, you know, I felt kind of guilty. Ultimately, it turned out to be a bad decision since Joan ends up executing the person you
don't want killed (Tripp); what's worse is I'm sure the person you
thought you condemned to death will have some very choice words for you in the final episode.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Completed a couple of more missions that are bringing me closer to victory – one of them actually set the Avatar Clock back a notch thanks to me skulljacking an ADVENT officer and grabbing the "Codex Brain" (it wasn't just enough that you had to hack into an ADVENT officer's brain, but you also have to deal with this shifty, inter-dimensional being that is used to protect the network!).

Choona has not picked a new game off my Pile of Shame for me to play this week (again) – so I guess I I've had another break of sorts! Hopefully he'll have something for me next week!
