Steam Games Sunday - 12 March 2017

It seems to be a week for strategy games, with four making the Steam Games Sunday list, including XCOM 2 at #1

  3. Rainbow Six Siege
  4. War Thunder
  5. Sid Meier's Civilization VI
  6. Mass Effect 2
  7. Marvel Heroes
  8. Everyday Genius: SquareLogic
  9. Eufloria HD
  10. Banished

Something pretty rare happened this week. Something I don't think has ever happened before (although I could be wrong): War Thunder has dropped out of the top three! Thanks to XCOM 2 shooting up to first place (last week it was in second place) and Total War: Warhammer making considerable ground by reaching 2nd place this week (up from 6th place last week), War Thunder has had its position usurped! Rainbow Six Siege hasn't moved much (although I think it's worthwhile to know that I managed to purchase the Year 2 Season Pass using birthday pressie funds :)) and in 4th place we have War Thunder. Civ VI has crept up from 8th place to 5th place this week thanks to some continuation of multiplayer games and Mass Effect 2 remains in 7th place. Marvel Heroes has managed to go up two places and is now 7th (up from 9th last week) and Everyday Genius: SquareLogic has also gone up to 8th place (10th last week). Eufloria HD, a game described as "an incredibly addictive ambient strategy game" on Steam and one you don't often find on this list, makes an appearance in 9th place and Banished has dropped to 10th place (down from 4th place last week).
